2013 Infiniti G Coupe Press Kit: At a Glance

The 2013 Infiniti G Coupe once again offers an unmatched combination of dynamic design, exhilarating performance and a modern, luxuriously crafted interior. For 2013, the G Coupe is available in three dynamic models - the Infiniti G37 Coupe Journey, Infiniti G37x Coupe AWD, Infiniti G37 Coupe Sport 6MT - along with two Infiniti Performance Line™ (IPL) models, the G37 Coupe-based IPL G Coupe and IPL G Coupe Sport 6MT. The G37 Coupe Journey, G37x Coupe AWD and G37S Coupe Sport 6MT are each equipped with a standard 3.7-liter VQ-series V6 with VVEL (for Variable Valve Event and Lift) rated at 330 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The G37 Coupe Journey and G37x AWD are offered with a performance-oriented 7-speed automatic transmission with Drive Sport (DS) Mode, Downshift Rev Matching and available solid magnesium paddle shifters. The G37 Coupe Sport 6MT comes with a responsive, close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. The G37x Coupe AWD utilizes Infiniti's advanced ATESSA E-TS® all-wheel drive system. Monitoring wheel spin, throttle position and vehicle speed, it automatically diverts up to 50 percent of available power to the front wheels, helping enhance

traction when road conditions are less than optimal. When all-wheel drive is not needed, the system can send up to 100 percent of the power to the rear wheels, preserving the G's sporty rear-wheel drive characteristics.

For buyers who want to take the standard G Coupe performance to an even higher level of performance, the Sport 6MT and Sport Package-equipped models offer a sport-tuned suspension, 14.7:1 sport-tuned steering gear (RWD models), Viscous Limited-Slip Differential, large Sport Brakes with 4-piston opposed front calipers, and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with summer performance tires (RWD only).

All of these advanced performance systems are wrapped in the G37's legendary seductive skin, while inside the G37 Coupe blends unique materials and finishes with traditional Japanese design cues.

Available technology features include Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® premium audio system, Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, Infiniti Voice Recognition for audio navigation, memory system for driver's seat, steering wheel and outside mirrors, RearView Monitor and Rear Sonar.
