infiniti G37 Air Filter how-to replacement steps

Air Filter Replacement

Instructions cover all sedans from 2007+ and all G37 Infiniti models Use the following instructions to replace air filters. No tools are needed. For parts, you need the two filters.

	Step 1: With the hood open, the airboxes are sitting directly in front, one on each side of the motor. To open the airbox flip up the two metal clips that hold the filter fray in the airbox. Do this for each side. In the picture to the left the red arrow indicates the replacement filters being installed, K&N in this case. The blue arrows show the two metal clips on the driver's side aribox that need to be flipped up.

	Step 2: The filter sits in a tray that slides in from the top. To remove the tray you have to pull the top towards you for it to clear the two tabs that are shown via the yellow arrows. Then pull up and remove it.

	Step 3: Remove the filter add the new filter to the tray and reinstall in reverse order. The picture on the left shows the removed tray and the old filter removed.
